Team Experience
We are ready for any challenge and have a never say never approach to the diversity of projects we get asked to work on. Our most common clients have learnt they have a professional partner in Landtech Surveys whose aims, goals and standards are just as high as their own. We thrive on delivering what others would think to be undeliverable, in a high standard and very competitively priced.
Below are just some of the work over the years we have been asked to carry out. |

Birmingham - ETAP Hotel
Landtech Surveys were instructed by the main contractor to provide setting out & on site control of a multi storey, 250 bedroom hotel in the heart of Birmingham city centre. The site being developed was an area of land being used by local residents to park their cars on and was frequented regularly by vandals. Belgium construction and development company Building & Engineering Limited instructed us to liaise with all parties including, Architect and Project Engineer, to complete survey and setting out work as instructed. We had soon become a vital member of the team providing setting out information, drawings and on-site calculations. We also provided a very cost effective approach by only being on site when needed instead of the the main contractor sourcing an engineer from an agency for the duration of the contract.
Wolverhampton - Garden Remediation
Landtech Surveys worked closely with the client and main contractor on a remediation project within close proximity to local private dwellings. The site was a housing estate built close to Wolverhampton race course. Initially we were tasked with the job of logging the position and level of Geoprobe investigation holes that were being drilled around the sites roads and then into the rear gardens of the residents property. This proved to be a huge task with over 2,200 Geoprobe holes to survey and log onto spreadsheets. Eventually as the results of the soil samples came back we were asked to survey the front and back gardens of properties which had been chosen for remediation work. Plans of all these properties were drawn showing an existing survey and a propsed survey to give the resident an understanding of what was to be done. As with all work undertaken a professional attitude and minimum disturbance to residents was ensured by working around their daily routines and procedures. As a vital member of the team we provided all the necessary drawings and data to the client and were involved with the project for almost 2 years.
Newcastle Under Lyme
A full topographical survey of approx. 12,000sq.m which included a farm house, barn and out buildings. Elevations to all sides of each building was produced along with measured floor plans and roof plans. All survey data was correlated to OSNG and datum, and supplied to our client as CAD and PDF documents.
Wisbech - Nene Waterfront Regeneration
The Nene Waterfront Regeneration project was carried out in 2008. The site was divided into four areas seperated by public highways which we had the overall duty of carrying out surveying duties, setting out and volume calculations. An existing topographical survey was carried out to OSNG and level to enable accurate earthwork volumes to be calculated. Initially this was measuring stockpiles and voids where contaminated material had been excavated, but ultimately led us to design a proposed finished 3d model so the site could be left ready for future development when the regeneration process had finished.
